Job description / Role
CLIENT
Linum Consult’s client is a large construction consultancy currently seeking an Information Manager to be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the information management services for their project in Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leading and managing the Information Management team
• Coordinating the client’s and project management team’s IM requirements
• Developing and implementing IM standards, policies, and procedures
• Delivering and implementing IM systems and tools: both hardware and software
• Delivering training on IM systems and tools
• Managing the interface of the IM service between the client, project management team, Consultants and Contractors
• Providing monthly and weekly reports, including making presentations to senior management
Requirements
PROFILE
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
• 10 years of post-graduate experience
• IT professional and an expert user of IM systems
• Excellent technical knowledge of information management, systems, tools, hardware and software
• Knowledge of major civil engineering projects
• Experienced user of MS Office
• Fluency in both spoken and written English
