Job description / Role
• Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the information security program under the direction of the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer)
• Implement, and maintain enforcement of policies, procedures and associated plans for system security administration and user system access based on industry-standard best practices across the Bank’s business networks.
• Plan penetration testing of all systems in order to identify system vulnerabilities.
• Review and report on security system and end user activity audits.
• Schedule, and perform security improvements, upgrades, and/or purchases.
• Conduct internal Bank’s activities pertaining to the investigation, correction, needed for the resolution of Information Security breaches, violations, and incidents.
• Perform periodic Bank’s risk assessments that identify current and future security vulnerabilities, help determine what level of risk is acceptable to management, and identify and recommend the best ways to reduce information security risks to this acceptable level.
• Analyze the Information Security trends and make appropriate recommendations to IT department and CISO for new security initiatives.
• Identify and recommend on appropriate access rights are available to user in the Bank & conduct a semi-annual review.
• Identify security violations, security risks and vulnerabilities to the attention of CISO.
• Respond to ad-hoc or unexpected Information Security events
• Advise on the application of Information Security policy, procedures and standards
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer or Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other information technology or Related field.
• Information Security certification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO27001, CEH are desirable
• Minimum 6 years of experience of information security in Banking industry, with background in Application security; security products and technologies; security engineering, networking protocols and data center; security analysis and investigations; risk assessment and management.
Skills & Knowledge:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security and risk- related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Knowledge of multiple technologies and experience with enterprise-wide applications and systems in an integrated work environment
