As a high profile British international school, for children aged 3-18, we focus on developing a growth mindset within our students and staff.

The Instrumental Music Programme at Doha College runs as an independent Academy. We are a team of 7 staff teaching various instruments including piano, strings, brass, woodwind, guitar and drums. We are currently presenting students for examination to the ABRSM and Rockschool examination boards. As an Instrumental Music Teacher you will be responsible for teaching Brass and piano to students of Doha College as well as the wider community across two campuses within Doha. You will also be responsible to prepare students for examinations and performances.

We are looking to appoint an inspirational, dynamic and enthusiastic Brass Teacher with the ability to:
- Teach brass instruments to students from beginner to diploma level;
- Maintain a database of students;
- Organise schedules for lessons;
- Communicate efficiently with parents and staff;
- Work flexible hours.
- Organise performances/ concerts;
- Work as part of a dynamic team;
- Be creative and innovative in delivering personalised, individual lessons;
- Contribute to the growth of the Instrumental Music Programme and the programme’s development plan and its implementation;
- Work effectively in a school environment and maintain positive working relationships;
- Teach piano to beginner/intermediate students.

Requirements

- A diploma/degree in brass performance/ pedagogy of music/ music education;
- The ability to teach ages 4-18+ across two campuses;
- The desire to work as part of an evolving Instrumental Programme.
