Role overview

Our client, a LNG operator, is seeking a highly skilled interface lead to manage the technical and physical interfaces for the onshore and offshore projects. In this role, you will ensure effective coordination and integration across ongoing and upcoming interdependent projects, QatarEnergy entities, Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), client projects, and third-party stakeholders. You will lead the implementation of interface agreements (IA), ensuring alignment with the program’s overall objectives and strategic direction.

Minimum requirements

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science

Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in interface management within large-scale oil & gas projects
At least 1 year in a supervisory or acting lead capacity
Extensive exposure to project execution, operations, and stakeholder management in both onshore and offshore environments
Proven experience with SIMOPS and the coordination of large, complex project interfaces
Hands-on knowledge in developing interface management plans, project interface registers, and reporting mechanisms

Skills & competencies:
Deep understanding of the project lifecycle and technical interdependencies
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to manage interfaces with governmental bodies, contractors, and vendors
Risk management acumen across legal, technical, and commercial dimensions
High proficiency in English (written and verbal)
Strong digital skills including MS Office, interface management tools, and relevant technical applications
Culturally sensitive with proven success in multi-national, cross-functional teams
Strong organizational, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
