Internal Auditor

Job description / Role

• Internal Auditor will perform professional Internal Auditing work.
• Conduct Performance, Financial and Compliance Audit projects
• Work independently under general supervision with considerable latitude and independent judgement
• Perform Audit procedures including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence and documentation with close supervision from the audit management
• Work within broadly defined guidelines and variable conditions with close supervision.
• Conduct Interviews, Review documents, develop and administer surveys, compose summary memos and prepares working papers.
• Communicate Complex situations to next level of management in a timely fashion and issues are dealt with effectively.
• Assist consultants and external auditors in conducting all the planned and agreed audits in a consistent manner with management objectives.
• Assembling the draft audit report, presenting audit findings and drafting local responses.
• Provide innovative solutions to next level in order to facilitate change or improvement at a process level.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, commerce or any related course.
• Preferably with certification as CIA, CPA, CMA, ACCA or CISA.
• 1-4 years of experience in Auditing, consulting or related businesses.
• Effective communication skills in English is a must.
• Candidates based in Qatar will be highly preferred.
