Employment: Full Time

International Remuneration & Benefits Specialist - Qatar Airways - Doha

Purpose: To add value to the company’s international compensation and benefits philosophy by analysing and evaluating existing compensation programs and making insightful recommendations keeping in view prevailing economic, industry and market trends.

Operational
• Formulate and develop Compensation & Benefits International key processes and procedures.
• Create and update salary structures and develop merit increase guidelines.
• Coordinate international pay review process while ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness and governmental compliance.
• Create and manage compensation dashboard to cater all reporting requirement of management.
• Provide input on all compensation & Benefits related matters including new offers, pay reviews, promotions, transfers ensuring policies and guidelines.
• Analyze report and recommend feedback on international operations compensation based factors by sourcing data from industry, market surveys and benchmarking results.
• Identify benefits trends and determine their impact within the organization as well as in the industry and market.

Output/Deliverab
• Up to date international industry and market benchmarking of employee compensation and benefits.
• Effective monitoring of compensation programs.
• Timely reporting on compensation and benefits impact.

Personal Development
• Take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise.
• Keep abreast with any market trends and developments
• Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.
• Train Qatari staff in various duties as per business requirements.

Operational Safety
• Ensure full awareness of work health and safety requirements and expectations in order to minimise health and safety risks for self and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, security, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the operation to guarantee employee safety, security, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality service with a responsible environmental attitude.
• Take a direct and personal interest in reported injuries, incidents, near misses and hazards to ensure that appropriate reporting, investigation and response is being achieved.

Environmental Competencies
• Contribute towards Qatar Airways Group Environmental Objectives and targets and the implementation and maintenance of the Environmental Management System.
• Apply environmental knowledge and principles in your role, and incorporate this into business processes and decision making, to drive efficiencies and reduce environmental and operational risks.

Requirements

• Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level or equivalent
• Analytical, problem solving and research skills
• Communication and presentation Skills
• Build positive/effective business partnerships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel, Power-point and Outlook)
• HRIS Systems
• Qualification in Human Resources / Remuneration and Benefits / Business or relevant field of study
• Specialist - minimum 5 years of job-related experience required
• Compensation experience including salary surveys, establishing pay scales, and related compensation policies, programs and procedures
• Legal requirement for international compensation programs
• COLA and CPI analysis and understanding

Preferred
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
• Experience with International Compensation Programs is beneficial
