International Treasury - Dealer

Job description / Role

The incumbent will perform all Money Market (MM) activities for the Group's international operations in a cost-effective manner in accordance with Group's strategy, risk appetite, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures and the delegated authority.

Description
* Complies with approved budgets, policies and procedures in relation to Group International Money Market operations.
* Assists in building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with all other related units to achieve the Group International MM goals/objectives.
* Provides timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors, the Compliance function and Group Risk as and when required.
* Performs activities in accordance with the set Group International MM strategies.
* Complies with department's policies and procedures for conducting buy/ sell deals, maintaining/ collating MIS pertaining to profitability/ revenue, and observing compliance with the applicable limits approved by the Board/ its delegated authorities.
* Trades in various money market instruments such as deposits, loans, short-term securities, forward rate agreements and interest rate swaps in approved currencies and with approved counterparties on the behalf of international operations as per the delegated authority.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Business, finance, Mathematics or Economics with min of 5 Years in International Treasury, Dealer, Trading.

Good knowledge of a range of Money Market products. Understanding of the local laws, regulations and practices.

Worked in western/ develop market experience is preferred with currently in Gulf region will be an advantage.
