Inventory Specialist: Forecasting & Planning – Qatar

CLIENT

Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are seeking an Inventory Specialist with a background in Forecasting & Planning to join their team in Qatar.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analysing sales data, historical trends, and industry forecast to predict future demand for automotive parts
• Developing and maintaining accurate inventory forecasting models using spreadsheets or specialised software
• Establishing minimum/maximum reorder points and lead times for parts based on demand forecasts
• Collaborating with purchasing and sales teams to optimise inventory levels and minimise stockouts or overstocking
• Managing and monitoring inventory turnover rates, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending adjustments to inventory planning strategies

PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business or similar
• Around 5-8 years’ experience in forecasting demand and planning stock levels
• Working knowledge of forecasting models and/or Excel spreadsheets
• Experience in maintaining efficient parts availability and cost control
• Familiarity with working in the Middle East and/or international companies
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English

Salary:
QAR 15,000 to 18,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
