Our client, a leading Qatari Holding Group for a High Net Worth family, seeks an Investment Consultant to join their company and identify, analyse, evaluate and provide investment advice to the Holding Group on acquisition and diversification strategies. This holding group seeks to expand its investment interest to comprise shares, real estate and business interests.

Reporting to the Finance and Affiliates Manager, this role is responsible for the following:
• Assessing and monitoring the company’s investment portfolio (public shares, business interests and real estate).
• Identify investment opportunities.
• Conduct investment related research.
• Assess investment proposals/appraisals.
• Report on existing investment performance.
• Follow-up on investment progress.
• Create red-flag reports with regards to investment.
• Coordinate with the investment stakeholders to ensure transparency of all the aspects of the investment.
• Draft investment MOUs and agreements.
• Provide proposals for investment structures for example funding plan, capital structure, etc.
• Prepare and review investment plans and feasibility studies.
• Ensure maximum utilization of funds to achieve highest return on capital.

Requirements

• Masters in Finance / Investment or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in comparable role.
• Candidates locally based will be highly regarded.
• The superior communicator we seek with have a superior attention to detail and the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Must be a proven performer in the achievement of deadlines and targets.
• A strong customer service orientation is essential with an ethos of continuous improvement.
• Candidates must be bilingual in English and Arabic.
