Employment: Full Time

A large organisation based in Doha with several subsidiaries within the education, facilities, retail and transport sectors is seeking an Arabic speaking Investor Relations & Compliance Manager to sit within their finance division.

Our client is a publicly listed company and therefore experience of the Middle East stock exchange is essential to this role along with fluency in the Arabic language. The main responsibilities will be to develop, plan and maintain the company investor strategy in order to ensure full compliance with the local Financial Market Authority and the Stock Exchange. Reporting directly to the CFO and CEO you will present competitive analysis and financial metrics to the senior management team and communicate with all stakeholders including the Board, private investors and the wider investment community. The role will also include establishment of the optimum mix of shareholders to provide maximum benefit and expertise to the organisation and provide insight and competitor market knowledge regarding the impact of stock purchases and the outside perception if the company as a whole. The successful candidate will also fulfill the role of public speaker on investor and compliance relations should the need arise.

Requirements

Those wishing to apply for this role will possess at least 5-7 years’ experience in a similar investor and compliance capacity for a large organisation of several subsidiaries. It is essential that you have had exposure to the middle east stock markets and that you are educated to degree standard as a minimum requirement with a strong finance focus. The successful candidate is also required to be a fluent Arabic speaker.
