Job description / Role
Objective:
Strategic responsibility using the disciplines of finance, communication, and marketing to manage the content and flow of the bank’s information and to ensure that the Bank’s business strategy and financial performance is effectively communicated to financial and other constituencies, analysts and investors.
Main responsibilities:
Develops and maintains the Bank’s investor relations plan
Develops and monitors performance metrics for the investor relations function
Creates presentations, press releases and other communication materials for earnings releases, industry events, and presentations to analysts, brokers, and investors
Manages the investor relations portion of the company website; from current and historical stock quotes to dates of shareholder meetings and downloadable financial reports
Manages AGM, EGM and other investor relations related meetings
Serves as the key point of contact for the investment community
Establishes and maintains relationships with stock exchange representatives
Organizes conferences, road shows, earnings conference calls, and investor meetings
Provides feedback regarding the investment community's perception of the company
Reporting to:
Executive Manager - Corporate Communication
Other interactions: Investors, head of departments and financial constituencies
Duration: Permanent
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline
At least 2 years’ experience in Investor Relations in banking sector
Accounting/finance experience is a plus
Experience in managing an investor relations function
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English & Arabic
Relationship-building skills in the investment community
Strong writer and very passionate about communicating messages through creativity and innovation
Strong interpersonal skills
Approachable and able to interact with all levels of staff
Dynamic and passionate about the job
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
