Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

You will be working with the Consortium Partners and the role involves preparing applications for payment, negotiating and invoicing of work progress and variations to the Client. You will also be required to prepare internal and external financial reports, variation and claims including monitoring tools, cost estimates and payment of the Consortium subcontractors.

Requirements

You should possess a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying or related disciplines with minimum of 7 years relevant working experience in the construction industry. The position requires 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role with international experience and interface with multicultural teams. Experience in Railway projects is highly regarded and you must have practical work experience in invoicing, variations, subcontractors management and cost management.

You should demonstrate impressive numeracy skills to be to handle the financial and mathematical demands. Knowledge of accounting rules, regulations and procedures would be advantageous. You should be results driven, autonomous with the the ability to work independently and to respond to tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language is essential.

The percentages held by each shareholders of the company are as follows:

51% by Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company, incorporated in Qatar and acting as the Qatari partner; and

49% by VINCI Construction Grands Projets, incorporated in France and acting as the non-Qatari Partner.

The scope of the company is general contracting and construction work, along with any associated services related to large selected Design and Build projects, either public or private for which it can bring clear and strong added value.
