IT Application Manager

Employment: Full Time

Our international client has an exciting new role for an IT Application Manager who will be responsible for aligning the projects requirements to the Head Office’s solutions and applications addressing all project needs to the relevant teams and following up on all phases until project operation/completion.

The role holds immense responsibility for this exciting project where you will be the point of contact for all business areas for the organisation managing the software applications for the business. The role will not only be responsible for collecting requirements for new and existing applications, but also monitoring the development and managing end user expectations. You will manage the entire lifecycle of the application process to acceptance and testing, which also includes monitoring systems which are being developed and customized for the project across multiple sites and venues. The role is both operational and hands-on; it requires a business analyst mind-set and results focused individual who has excellent communication skills to be able to work alongside all internal/external stakeholders from end-users to suppliers.


The successful candidate should hold a Degree in either IT, telecommunication or computer science with strong IT Skills and knowledge especially in applications, EA and Cyber Security is required. You should have at least 8-10 years of experience in technology, technology certificates such as Service Management Certificates eg: Agile, ITIL.

You will also have strong project management skills having lead large-scale IT Projects. Experience working on the gap analysis based on AS-IS, To-Be processes and proposed changes for process improvements; converting Business Process Modelling into solutions to be developed; and experience in business analysis and business process implementation. Candidates based in Qatar will be highly preferred. Experience in the events, transportation, medical or similar industry.
