IT Auditor – Cyber & Data Governance (Qatari National)

Job description / Role

A government entity in Qatar is seeking a Qatari National with 2+ years of experience to join its Internal Audit function as an IT Auditor – Cyber & Data Governance. This role is suitable for professionals with experience in IT audit, cybersecurity, or technology risk looking to develop their careers in a regulated public-sector environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Support IT and cybersecurity audits, including access controls and security reviews
• Assist with data governance and data privacy assessments
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and remediation follow-ups
• Review IT controls against ISO 27001 / NIST frameworks
• Prepare audit documentation and support audit reporting

• Qatari National (mandatory)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity, technology risk, or similar roles
• Good understanding of IT controls and cybersecurity concepts
• Fluent in Arabic and English
