IT Projects Manager - Infrastructure - Qatari National - Hamad International Airport - Doha

This role is required to be part of HIA IT Projects and Programme management team, to execute new projects being initiated to fulfill business requirements. This role is responsible for supporting IT Programme Manager in delivery of multiple IT Infrastructure Projects and Work Program across HIA as well as establishing project scopes, schedules, solution delivery, resource dependencies and risk management.

Additionally, you must Secure acceptance and approval of deliverable from the Project Sponsor and Stake Holders and also, assess/mange change in scope by performing impact analysis and get agreement from relevant Stake Holders. You will manage and take end-to-end ownership for assigned projects; develops Project Plan with the team and manages the team’s performance during the execution of project tasks to achieve targets of quality, cost benefits, timelines and business requirements while effectively managing stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

The successful candidate will bring an attention to detail, strong time management and leadership skills and desire to learn. This role is a will take part in the ‘Smart Airport’ Transformation program.

To be successful in the role you must hold a Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Engineering discipline, from an accredited university and Certification in Project management (PMP, Prince 2) with minimum 7+ years of job-related experience in leading IT projects, of which preferably 2 years should be in successful management of large Projects.

You must have highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership, a willingness to learn and a strong desire to succeed. You must have the ability to accomplish specific task within a reasonable time frame. You should also have strong detail orientation and high degree of accuracy, as well as excellent communication skills.
