Job description / Role
- Reviewing and understanding architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to ensure compliance
with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure that joinery products meet quality standards and
- Conducting quality control inspections of joinery products throughout the production process, including incoming materials,
in-process production, and final products.
- Identifying and resolving quality issues, including non-conformances, defects, and deviations from customer specifications.
- Conducting root cause analysis of quality issues to identify the underlying causes and implement corrective actions to
prevent future occurrences.
- Developing and maintaining quality records and documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and
corrective action reports.
- Providing guidance and training to production staff on quality control procedures and techniques.
- Coordinating with other departments, such as production, engineering, and project management, to ensure that quality
requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conducting customer satisfaction surveys and analyzing feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Participating in industry conferences, seminars, and workshops to stay up-to-date with new developments and best practices
in quality assurance and quality control.
- 7 Years of Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- To be successful as a Joinery QA/QC Engineer, candidates should have a strong understanding of joinery production processes and quality control techniques, as well as excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A degree in engineering, woodworking, or a related field is typically required, along with relevant experience in a quality control or quality assurance role in the joinery industry.
