Overview of the role
To manage all product-related training. The overall responsibility will be to teach employees in an articulated and professional manner by delivering knowledgeable and enthusiastic training in the Watsons DNA as well as brand products, ensuring consistency within the high standards demanded.
What you will do
- Lead the development of Watsons KSA training strategy, working with key stakeholders: General Manager, Head of Buying, Operations Manager, and store managers.
- Deliver complete and comprehensive training to the highest standards in Watsons.
- Ensure training is structured as per guidelines with the knowledge to adapt and deliver as required.
- Increase and develop awareness on the importance of thorough consultation, enabling specific home care recommendations and product upsell, supporting brand development and sales targets.
- Be familiar with all promotional activities of the company and support in readiness for the same.
- Train all KSA Beauty Consultants with product knowledge and selling behaviors to enable them to consistently achieve and exceed sales and service goals in line with published brand expectations.
- Build relationships with Sales and Operations functions and store managers, feeding back and guiding them on the individual's performance and achievements whether successful or unsuccessful completion of training.
- Manage and direct programs focusing on sales, service, and customer experience including Mystery Shop to measure performance.
- Be open, receptive, and contribute to the brand's development and that of the Watsons training program.
- Present new product launches to various divisions of the company to achieve awareness and knowledge.
- Support Operations Manager with recruitment of Beauty Consultants in high-profile locations (flagships).
- Act as a role model and senior brand ambassador with regards to product knowledge, brand standards, personal grooming, and sales expertise.
- Complete and submit training plans and recaps on time and within corporate guidelines and budgets.
- Participate in regional relevant training conferences and seminars.

What equips you for the role
- Bachelor's degree or diploma.
- Health and beauty experience in retail.
- Training experience, ideally in a retail environment.
- Experience working in a mid-large beauty environment.
