Job description

We are seeking a skilled Kenfix Technician to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Tower, Qatar. As a Kenfix Technician, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repairs in our facility. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our industrial processes and maintaining high productivity standards.

• Obtain out of order room list from the Assistant Chief Engineer and Engineering Coordinator and perform the required repairs and maintenance per maintenance schedule.
• Check all the rooms as per PMP schedule regarding carpentry, electricity, plumbing, painting, polishing, and A/C.
• In case of any major repair in the rooms, it must be reported to the Assistant Chief Engineer.
• In the guest rooms, the policy and procedures must always be strictly applied.
• Perform any other work assigned by the Assistant Chief Engineer or the engineering shift supervisor.
• The toolbox should always be ready and missing tools are your responsibility.
• Relieve any technician during their absence (electrician, plumber, general mechanic, A/C technician, welder, painter, polisher, carpenter) according to operational requirements and as per the Assistant Chief Engineer's instructions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Kenfix Technician or in a similar role working with industrial equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and write detailed reports.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and procedures.
