Job description / Role
L3 Soc Analyst up to 25k Qar for an IT Consulting Company in Qatar
• Proposition of specific recommendations
• Investigate and solves security breaches and other cyber security incidents and provide incident response.
• Incident analysis for correlation rules design and implementation
• Deals with incidents from L2 and investigation and qualification of L2 incidents
Requirements
• POSITION: LS SOC ANALYST
• SALARY: up to 25,000 QAR all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications
• HIRING COMPANY: IT Consulting Company
• WORK LOCATION: Doha, Qatar
• AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately (max 1-month)
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 6 months - extendable
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to ANY nationality
• Male or Female, below 45 years old
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or System Analysis discipline, or any related engineering/computer field
• Min 3 years of SOC Level 2 and Min 2 years of SOC Level 3 experience
• Very good knowledge of Windows and/or Linux/Unix,
• Very good understanding of security incidents, networking and common protocols
• Scripting in Python, Bash, Perl, PowerShell
• Good communication skills
