Job description / Role
An exciting opportunity exists within a top international consultancy for a Lead Site Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team in Doha.
Working as an integral part of the delivery team providing on-site technical support your role will encompass but not be limited to, leading a team of Electrical Engineers on site, carrying out regular site inspections, ensure that the project is being completed on time and within budget, review and monitor the Contractor’s procedures, practices and progress on site, review and monitor shop drawings, materials and method statements, represent the company at client, supplier and contractors’ meetings, prepare technical schedules, coordinate work with other members of the team and ensure that all staff are informed of the clients requirements/instructions.
Requirements
To be considered for this position you must have a relevant electrical / building services qualification and 12+ years’ experience within a consultancy environment working on large-scale international projects. Previous design and post contract experience and demonstrable experience of dealing with clients and of managing projects and teams are essential.
