Lead Maintenance Assistant - Commercial - Doha - Qatar

The successful candidate will be responsible for activities related to maintenance of commercial properties. You will be responsible to supervise subordinate personnel, delegating assignments and ensuring assigned job relating to maintenance of residential and commercial properties are completed on time. Together with the team, you will take responsibility for maintaining quality, accuracy and completeness. You will support all emergencies and ensure responsible back up is available in order to take corrective action as necessary.

You will manage manpower resources to ensure jobs are completed within stipulated time-frames and all activities related to Preventive, Scheduled and work orders are addressed. You will study and perform the scope of work and ensure the work quality of all project works is as per QR standards. You will determine design requirements to meet safety, accessibility and building code guidelines. You will ensure all service provider personnel adhere to safety standards including PPE and set priorities, conduct regular checks and take appropriate decisions. Your job covers general maintenance, room preparation, welcome kits delivery etc.

Requirements

You should hold a post high school training certificate and a diploma in Electrical or Mechanical. You should have minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity in a multicultural environment preferably in a Hospitality/Hotel/Facilities Management industry. You should be a computer literate and have thorough knowledge on maintenance works related to electrical, plumbing, drainage and air conditioning.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and proficient in written and spoken English. You should have basic knowledge on technical operation of appliances and customer skills.
