Job description / Role
Kentz, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for Lead Site Piping Engineer to work in Qatar.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and supervise major engineering work / activities carried out at site on an oil & gas project. Identify and resolve engineering issue.
Requirements
- BS Eng or equivalent engineering degree from an accredited university
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in oil and gas industry and 2 years as Lead Field Piping Engineer
- Experience with planning, coordinating and supervising major component / equipment engineering.
- Possess computer knowledge in Ceasar II, 3D Review tool like Navis Works Review Reality Word and Excel
- Must possess a good knowledge of piping mechanics and understanding of of pipe work and layout design
- Familiar with Design codes and standards
