Lead Storekeeper

Job description / Role

Lead Storekeeper - Qatar Airways -Doha

Responsible to oversee the receipt, storage, requisitioning and monitoring of uniform items, supplies and materials relevant in the process of storekeeping. Performs a full range of storekeeping assignments based on existing policies and procedures. Responsible to maintain a clean, safe and efficient workplace environment allowing quick and easy access to uniform items.

Some Responsibilities include:

* Monitor unloading / offloading of uniform items, materials, supplies, etc. from trucks by hand-operated or motorised equipment.
* Open, time-stamp, separate and distribute incoming uniform materials to store rooms.
* Stock materials according to a described inventory system.
* Verify uniform request form to ensure uniform requisition from the store / staff number is accurate as per entitlement.
* Upload data and edit stock orders in computerised inventory system

Requirements

You must have a trade or vocational qualification. You should be qualified in Microsoft Office Applications. You should have minimum 3 years of job-related experience

You must have a working knowledge of inventory Management (Ex. FIFO Method). You should be willing to do physical work / shift duties. Good knowledge of managing warehouse equipment such as order Picker, Pallet Staker, Pallet Jacks ect.
