Our newest opportunity is for a talented Legal Counsel, to join our award-winning team based in Doha, Qatar . Whilst fluency in both written and spoken Arabic is not essential, it is preferable and fluency in English is required.

This critical role will act as an advisor to KEO's senior management and assist the General Counsel identify and manage the legal issues and affairs of KEO and its associated interests across the GCC and Europe.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Review Tender Documents and provide contracts risk review with recommendation
- Draft / revise contracts
- Develop KEO contract forms
- Negotiate and close contracts
- Draft and review contractual letters
- Understand and enforce KEO internal policies
- Provide legal and contractual advice
- Understand insurance policies and requirements
- Assist in corporate restructuring processes and licenses
- Review Tenders Clarifications and reply, review, analyse and prepare construction claims
- Follow up on disputes with external lawyers and have an input as may be necessary.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 8 years' career experience with a Bachelor of Law or equivalent.
- Masters level qualification will be viewed favorably.
- Experience working in the construction industry is required as knowledge of construction terms and principles is a pre-requisite in this position.
