Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading holding and publicly listed company with a wide portfolio of businesses operating across a number of different industry sectors including real estate, trading and distribution as well as manufacturing and entertainment. Due to the expansion of the corporate commercial team, our client is looking to hire a bilingual (Arabic / English) Legal Counsel who will report into the General Counsel.
Working with an established, thriving team, you will support the organisation in a cross-functional legal role and negotiate, draft and review a variety of commercial contracts in addition to corporate mergers and acquisitions & finance matters. You will be required to work 5 and a half days a week and be involved in litigation matters providing day-to-day legal services to all departments for the holding company and subsidiaries within the group.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be fluent in Arabic and English and a qualified Lawyer with 7 years PQE and a minimum of 3 years extensive experience working within holding and publically listed group of companies. You should have solid knowledge of the Qatar laws, rules and regulations and will be available locally in Qatar with an NOC.
