Lighting Specialist and Site Manager

Job description / Role

Responsible to implement the assigned package of the work of his discipline in coordination with the team.

Task & responsibilities (including but not limited to):

During DESIGN DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCTION PHASES:
- Coordinate with the Main Contractor and relevant sub-contractors to ensure that the design of the lighting is fully and compatibly integrated into the building's wider systems.
- Produce shop drawings, design schematics and diagrams and submission to the Engineer for approval prior to procurement and installation.
- Exhibits elements transport and installation supervision.

During the INSTALLATION PHASE
- Installation of the specialist lighting to all the exhibition areas.
- Site supervision in coordination with the team
- Daily site visit as per requirement to supervise the work of suppliers
- Laying out and marking (survey), measurements to check alterations
- Preparation of sketches and drawings as per requirement
- Developing weekly reports (photos + any needed information)
- Testing and Commissioning and provision of demonstrations and inspections.
- Preparation of Operation and Maintenance Manuals and submission to the Site Manager.
- Preparation of As-built Drawings.

Management
- Responsible to implement the assigned part of the work and to help to the managing board
- Project planning: Helps in creating Work Breakdown Structure, WBS, decompose the work package, into Schedule activities, helps identifying dependencies between activities. Helps look for deviations from the project management plan. Provide time and cost estimates,
- Coordination of construction operations: Technical support & Coordination with the technical team to execute the project management plan to accomplish the work defined in the project scope of work. Coordination with the AV specialists and the electrical engineer
- Helps in identifying and involving stakeholders, identifying their requirements; Communication with other stakeholders
- Participate in the risk management process
- Quality supervision: Comply with the quality and communication plans, conducts process improvement
- Attend project team meetings
