Job description / Role
• Familiarization of District Cooling Plant and Maintenance.
• Responsible for preparing Annual PPM Planner for DCP, Chilled Water Network and ETS Equipment.
• Develop maintenance KPI, and achieve the Plant overall technical availability, and PPM completion as per KPI.
• Responsible for developing maintenance SOP/WI and Maintenance Task list for all the equipment as per OEM recommendation.
• Responsible for developing lubrication schedule for all the equipment.
• Identifying the critical equipment and maintain its minimum spare parts inventory to increase the equipment's up time.
• Optimization of spares and consumables and minimizing the maintenance cost.
• Conducting toolbox talk, job safety and risk analysis for all the maintenance activity.
• Condition monitoring for all rotating equipment using vibration analyzer and laser alignment kit and developing a database for new equipment.
• Strengthening and handling the centralized maintenance team, provide technical training as on when required.
• Carry out preventive routine and breakdown maintenance for all rotating and statistic equipment such as Centrifugal Chiller, Pumps and Cooling Towers, etc. in District Cooling Plant, Chilled Water Network and Energy Transfer station.
• Performing emergency breakdown maintenance and restore the equipment back to normal operation as soon as possible.
• Coordinating with third party contractors for required/assigned activities by Line Manager.
• Conducts periodical survey of chilled water network, all valve chambers and dewatering as when required.
• Conducts periodical cleaning of Energy Transfer Station District Cooling Plant side strainer as per schedule.
• Identifying local workshop for machine and fabrication work.
• Strict compliance with HSE rules and regulations.
• Preparing technical reports and daily updates to the department manager and daily data logging.
• Involvement with new plant commissioning and punch list preparation.
• Involvement in Energy Transfer Station inspection from initial installation stage until final tie-in and chilled water delivery stage.
• Coordination with rental chiller supplier in installing temporary chiller plant at various locations until chilled water production stage.
• Assisi ting in preparation of a annual maintenance budget, costing and scope of work of maintenance service to outside job.
• Handle client, contractor and customer's meetings.
• Update equipment history card and lubrication schedule.
• Documentation of any customer complaints and tale actions to ensure that they are effectively closed as per customer's complaint handling process.
• Awareness of Functional Objectives, significant environmental aspects and work related occupational hazards, QHSE policy, benefits of following the established management system and implication if not complying with the requirements.
• Incident reporting to HSE team of any accidents.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 5 years experience in District Cooling maintenance field.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 8 years experience in core activity of maintenance of rotating equipment
