Job description / Role
Job Purpose
Lead the optimization of technical and business processes for Onshore and Offshore Maintenance departments through the implementation of structured continuous improvement (CI), best practices, cost optimization and benchmarking activities.
Key Job Accountabilities:
• Create, establish, and revise relevant processes and procedures, guidelines on continuous improvement (CI), best practices, cost optimization and benchmarking to define the overall governance strategy and support its implementation.
• Support the implementation of governance strategy and refinement of corresponding documentation to support Maintenance department objectives.
• Act as process enabler to drive CI opportunity identification by conducting workshops, focus group discussions, process assessments and health checks.
• Maintain good relationships with process owners and help teams to sustain process gains for continual improvement.
• Provide mentoring to all areas of the Maintenance department to cascade expertise in Six Sigma and Lean methodology.
• Develop and enhance existing data governance and management processes to support efficient Maintenance functions.
• Utilize relevant statistical tools and comparative techniques to support objective reporting and decision making.
• Lead workshops for identification of cost optimization opportunities and steward through to implementation to sustain long term savings.
• Oversee multiple projects to ensure project plans are carried out in adherence with CI governance guidelines and company project management standards.
• Apply strategic change management expertise to implement efficiency and cost related improvements.
• Conduct situational analysis for the dovetailing of Maintenance strategic plans and objectives with corporate strategic plans and objectives.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Knowledge and/or Experience:
• 8 years’ experience in the Oil or Gas industry within maintenance or engineering functions.
• In-depth experience in the implementation of Continuous Improvement programs.
• Experience in the application and utilization of statistical software such as JMP or Minitab.
