Maintenance Manager

Job description / Role

Linum Consult’s client is a major international company urgently seeking a Maintenance Manager with a background in Mechanical Process Plants & Equipment to be based in their Doha office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing and directing multi-disciplined maintenance engineering functions to ensure preventative, reactive, and predictive maintenance operations are executed efficiently and systematically
• Overseeing the maintenance of mechanical process plants, mechanical utilities, instrumentation equipment, automation equipment, electrical equipment, and rotating machinery
• Supporting the operations of a large, multi-site production facility comprising of multiple urea and ammonia plants, a melamine plant, cogeneration units, and UFC plants
• Ensuring compliance with and promoting Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management procedures and standards
• Managing, planning, and monitoring engineering activities and projects to ensure execution in line with best engineering and project management practices
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure the smooth execution of maintenance operations and related services
• Establishing and managing maintenance and expenditure budgets

PROFILE

• Degree qualification in Engineering
• At least 10 years’ experience in similar roles in large companies, with a minimum of 5 years at a senior level
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment and machinery for urea and ammonia plants
• Excellent team leadership skills and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Ideally already located in Qatar and able to start immediately
