Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• To manage and provide technical leadership to discipline engineers.
• Accountable to provide design and engineering services across all stages if project development, technical quality, Static Equipment's, Material & Corrosion mechanical building services disciplines to the highest technical authority.

• Develop and manage the process for allocation of technical authorities to ensure the provision of the required quality technical services
• Accountable for planning and timely allocation of resources in condition with the engineering services division to align with the requirement of project s managers in the projects teams and end user
• Accountable for studies and design related to the disciplines ensuring technical suitability and compliance with standard.
• Accountable for technical inputs to project execution strategies for alignment with disciplines and technical requirements
• Accountable for technical approval of disciplines vendors for inclusion in preferred vendor list and signing off vendor deviations
• Ensures that all applicable environment and process safety technical policies and fully implemented on all projects scopes.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, chartered engineer status or post graduate qualification.
• 20 years of relevant post graduate experience, out of which 15 years in oil and gas industry with 7 years of proven leadership roles in giant Oil & Gas companies, preferable IOC and NOC.
