Manager - Quality & HSSE

Job description / Role

• Knowledge of the Architecture, Engineering and Planning Industry
• Knowledge of quality and HSSE certification, compliance requirements and audit programs
• Understanding of local quality and HSSE regulations in the Gulf Region is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a variety of stakeholders, including senior management
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration from an accredited University
• Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration is preferred
• ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001 Internal Auditor
• ISO 9001 Foundation / Internal Auditor
• 10+ years’ demonstrable experience with regional / multi-national engineering firm in a quality / HSSE function.
• Experience in a quality / HSSE function in the Architecture, Engineering and Planning Industry is an advantage.
• Experience with development and enforcement of quality and HSSE policies, procedures and tools across large organizations.
• Experience with leading the quality / HSSE audit activities at large organizations.
• Experience with leading quality HSSE training programs at large organizations.
• Experience with conducting quality assurance and quality control activities on engineering design deliverables is an advantage
