Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

In this position you will be required to manage and develop the Safety Management System within Qatar Aviation Services, ensuring performance and quality, that the organisation is compliant to safety requirements, analysing all incidents and accidents.

You will provide significant contribution to internal and external stakeholders across the business on safety and performance management issues by developing a strategy and support to underpin a high performance culture.

Performing regular audits, analysis of accidents, incidents and evaluating trends, you will be responsible for investigation or where appropriate, assisting other in investigating the circumstances and root causes of accidents and take necessary steps to prevent recurrence.

You will deliver safety coaching and mentoring to all department personnel and assist the Manager Occupational Health, Safety and Emergency to establish company's safety procedures, standards and specifications to meet international and national standards.

Moreover, you will provide appropriate accident investigation methodology to ensure personal accountability and improve risk management, including monitoring and interpretation of statistical data.

Requirements

About You:

- You should have at least 7 years relevant experience, ideally in a Safety Managerial role, preferably with a Airline or Ground Handling company.


You should be educated to Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level and hold professional experience within Safety Management or related field.
