Job description / Role
ACCIONA Infrastructures Water is looking for an Mechanical Supervisor with knowledge and experience of Operations and Maintenance in water treatment plants for its projects at Doha, Qatar.
The main responsibilities for the position will be the coordination and delivery of all operations activities required under the service agreement contract and in compliance with local regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for directing and supervising the activities of assigned personnel involved in the maintenance of Mechanical Equipments related to Distillers, Boilers and its related auxiliary equipments to Water Station.
- To Supervise preventive, breakdown and planned overhaul of assigned mechanical equipmen
- To participate in diagnosis and repair of major breakdown and to estimate time of repair and ensure timely return of repaired equipment.
- To supervise on site annual overhual and to follow work schedule
- To check safety, work permit and preventive maintenance plan
- To plan, check specification and to ensure that maintenance works are carried out according to agreed, schedule, cost estimate and required quality
- To assist maintenance engineer in organizing spare-parts ordering plan and to check stock list.
- Suggest and carry out necessary modification in the plant to improve it performance
- To supervise lifting operation in job where assigned.
- Maintain and updates a log of maintenance work done.
Requirements
- 5 years’ on hand experience in the installation, repair, testing and maintenance of a wide range of mechanical equipment, preferably in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
- At least 3 years of which were in field working experience as technician on critical rotating/ static / Mechanical Equipment in Oil /Gas / Water/Petrochemical or Power Plants.
- Strong Communications skills in English included reading, writing, listening and speaking. Spanish or Arab desirable
- Knowledge of business processes to adequately optimize the Computerising Maintenance Management System
We are looking for a person able to organize and prioritize work, autonomously on task, able to undertake problems solving and troubleshooting skills as part of normal operation duties, focused in objectives.
