Job description / Role
WORK PURPOSE:
- The technician must be able to perform maintenance, repair and operations activities on GE - manufactured Rotating Equipment such as Gas Turbines (Aeroderivative or Heavy-Duty), Steam Turbines, Pumps and Centrifugal Compressors.
DUTIES& RESPONSABILITIES:
- Perform operations and maintenance activities on mechanical parts of Rotating Equipment
- Create site reports accordingly with the procedures
- Direct and perform mechanical activities on the machine
- Interface and handle with the site manager and site coordinators
- Remove/install spare parts, seals, components etc.
Requirements
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Proven experience as Field Mechanical Technician/Engineer
- Proven experience on Installation, Commissioning or Repair of Rotating Equipment such as Turbines and Compressors
- Good knowledge and practice of IT programs and use of PC
- Good knowledge of English Language
- 5 years of Professional Experience as field Technician or Engineer
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Resident in Middle East
- Iqama/NOC Transferable - required
