MEP Team leader

Job description / Role

Currently looking for an MEP Team Leader who has 15+ year's experience in a mechanical background to join a leading, international consultancy in Doha. The MEP Team Leader I am looking for must have excellent experience in managing, coordination and delivery of MEP projects. The successful MEP Team Leader will have proven experience in engaging in new business development, and maintaining current client relationships.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant consultancy in Qatar working on a multitude of prestigious projects including high-rise, residential, and commercial amongst others. You will have a strong focus on client based work, and be securing major projects within the region for the client. The MEP Team Leader must also be technically strong from a mechanical bias, and a good understanding of Electrical and Public Health engineering to lead a strong MEP Team.

Requirements

* Minimum 15 year's experience from a mechanical background
* Experience in managing MEP Designs
* Preparation of design reports
* Proven understanding of MEP Design software and Revit/BIM
* Can effectively manage and coordinate people with other multi discipline project teams
* Excellent understanding in international/local building codes and regulations
* Proven business development experience- to include building new business from scratch, and maintaining current client relationships
* Ability to register with local engineering authority
