Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the World <br><br>Munitions Controller<br><br>The Munitions Controller plans, schedules, and monitors the maintenance of War Reserve Materiel (WRM) live, inert, and dummy munitions, non-powered munitions support equipment, handling equipment, manning, and facility inspection requirements. Executes and oversees command-and-control actions of ongoing explosive operations. Operates Munitions Information Systems (MIS) to include TICMS to determine status of explosives assets and facilities. Uses the information for planning, scheduling and command/control actions in the MC2 system. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).<br><br>Principal Accountabilities <br>- Provides broad oversight of the Munitions Departments routine and contingency planning, workload and production scheduling according to contractual responsibilities. <br>- Oversees facilities, equipment, vehicle, and munitions resource status, capabilities and limitations that may impact mission accomplishment. <br>- Promptly informs Munitions Superintendent of problems and limiting factors. <br>- In coordination with Section supervisors, manages the awaiting maintenance (AWM), awaiting parts (AWP), and TCTO programs. <br>- Reviews AWM/AWP and TCTO programs weekly during the scheduling meeting. <br>- Plans, schedules, and coordinates with munitions accountability and maintenance sup¬ply liaison on all TCTO requirements. <br>- Attends the Site's TCTO planning and reconciliation meetings for munitions assets and equipment. <br>- Prepares consolidated yearly, quarterly, monthly munitions maintenance and inspection forecasts and weekly munitions maintenance and inspection schedules. <br>- Maintains the delayed discrepancy file (AWM/AWP) on munitions items and equipment. <br>- Coordinates with Munitions Accountability Section the status of actions taken for approved ADRs and the scheduled date of disposal/shipment. <br>- Consolidates data for recurring reports and prepares them for submission to the Munitions Superintendent. <br>- Attends monthly, weekly, and other scheduling meetings with the AEW Munitions Flight and incorporates the required support in the departments workload planning schedule. <br>- Works necessary hours, to include stand-by duties, to support mission requirements during peacetime and combat contingencies. <br>- Evaluates demands when they are received and translates requirements into prioritized support of the AEW AMMO Flight (AF); informs Munitions Superintendent in the event of scheduling conflicts. <br>- Establishes and maintains clear channels of communications and coordination with AEW AF. <br>- Performs direct-input in TICMS/MC2 and ensures documents are routed in accordance with document flow procedures. <br>- Manages keys and locks in accordance with AFMAN 21-200 for control of munitions structure keys. <br>- Maintains and uses Emergency Action Check sheets to include: war/contingency plan execution notification, crash, fire, severe weather and explosive mishaps. <br>- Tracks work progress of explosive operations to maintain status of the work force. <br>- Notifies supporting activities before starting hazardous operations or evacuation/fire drills. <br>- Notifies the Fire Department of any hazard class division 1.1 explosives movements outside the MSA or of changes in magazine contents affecting fire symbols or hazard symbols and document notification. <br>- Works necessary hours, to include stand-by duties, to support mission requirements during peacetime and combat contingencies. <br>- Perform other duties as assigned. <br><br>Minimum Requirements: <br>- Must have intermediate knowledge of the USAF Supply, TMO, Munitions, and Tech Order systems or US service equivalent. <br>- Must have intermediate knowledge of munitions control and scheduling processes/procedures. <br>- Must have intermediate capability to adapt to stress and to speak in a clear and concise manner. <br>- Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs. <br>- May be required to operate material handling equipment. <br>- Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license. <br>- High School diploma or equivalent required. <br>- Must have four years of experience with Military Munitions. <br>- Must not have been convicted of a Domestic Violence charge (Lautenberg Amendment compliance). <br>- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance. <br>- Works in normal office and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods. <br>- Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed. <br>- Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs. <br>- Ability to travel domestically and internationally. <br>- Must have normal color perception and depth of vision. <br>- Must have a U.S. Passport.<br><br>Preferred Qualifications: <br>- Preferred working knowledge of all Munitions functional areas. <br>- Preferred intermediate knowledge of MC2 and other information systems. <br>- Preferred experience with USAF munitions storage, maintenance, control, and inspection procedures. <br>- Preferred experience with TICMS, CAS, MC2, TMRS and IMDS for Munitions and MMHE. <br><br>Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
