Job description / Role
To analyze the clients retail network and make recommendations on the opening/closing of business centres in order to ensure that the client is optimally placed in the market to serve its customers, generate revenues,and gain market share.
Liaise with market research agencies and government offices, for instance The Ministry of Urban
Planning, to gather data such as traffic projections, population density in order to assess and identify key locations for the clients retail network.
Develop and recommend network plans which optimize profitability and growth opportunities based on the best analytical support including market projections, growth opportunities, cash flow analysis, management considerations, and market requirements against an identified set of risk factors.
Discuss with the retail team and refine the prepared network plans while taking into consideration market growth, competition, and future expansion plans for the client in order to develop network plans that are commercially viable and realistic and in alignment with the prepared business plans.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing or supply chain management
Minimum Experience:
4-6 years as a network planner for major retail organisations
