Qualification and experience required

Relevant technical and industry experience in oil and gas operations, relevant trade qualification or degree.

Advanced skills and knowledge of campaign/shutdown management techniques preferably in the petrochemical, refining, oil & gas exploration and/or production industries.

Awareness and basic use of planning software tools i.e. Primavera P6, MS Project.

Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills required.

Solid leadership skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplined and multi-cultural environment.

Fluent in English (listening, writing and speaking) and its technical vocabulary.

Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.

High-level user of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) SAP.

Medically fit to work on offshore oil & gas installations.

Accountabilities

Ensure compliance with company incident free culture, health and safety and environment policy to deliver incident free shutdown.

Manage the preparation and execution teams for construction activities offshore, of up to 60 contracted supervisors, foremen and multi-skilled technicians.

Prepare the construction works with the project team.

Plan for the resources, equipment, tools, and consumables required for the construction activities offshore.

Maintain daily communication with onshore coordinators to ensure and report timely preparation and execution.

Implement necessary actions to guarantee objectives are achieved.

Provide daily reports to and via the construction department construction coordinator.

Be accountable for the safe delivery of works execution at site for engineering and construction.

Contribute to the development of the level 4 plans to maintain critical path.

Deliver offshore works with zero punch items.
