Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with one of the market leaders, who for over a decade has built its business based on integrity, quality and service, mainly servicing the aftermarket automotive equipment industry and machinery sector, also with a product base spanning into many other industrial products. Our client is seeking to increase profitability across all markets and segments and is looking to hire a commercially savvy, proactive and sales driven Operations Manager to further develop its existing client base and to take the business to the next level.
As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all operations from P&L, budgets, driving and promoting products, supplier management, handling/promoting turnkey projects, business development and sales as well as managing existing client relationships across the public and private sectors, increasing profitability for the business. With over 100 products in their catalogue, the major products include automotive batteries, safety tools, workshop cleaning, body and workshop equipment, tires and construction machines, etc.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have solid operations management experience and be able to lead & manage a diverse team. You should also be sales driven, commercially astute and be able to develop long-term partnerships with internal/external stakeholders in both the public and private sectors. Experience in the after sales automotive sector within the GCC is required and Arabic would be advantageous.
