Operations Manager – Cleaning Services

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a multinational Qatari organisation who has a cleaning service subsidiary and is looking to hire an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations as well as do business development in order to grow the existing client base.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all cleaning contracts and ensuring that the teams adhere to safety measures during all cleaning operations.

You will facilitate budget planning, evaluate relevant data to propose recommendations for cleaning process improvement as well as develop and review operation plans to improve work procedures and quality service delivery; constantly monitoring and reporting on progress of the project to all the stakeholders.

As part of business development, you will also be responsible sourcing new residential and commercial clients, and the preparation of tender and quotations for new projects.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must have at least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role, be able to multi-task and have the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and client needs.

You must possess good leadership, communication and project management skills with the ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects. A strong work ethic, excellent customer service and previous management experience is mandatory. Due to the urgency of this role, only candidates already in Qatar will be considered.
