Job description / Role
Our client is a leading international construction company that is currently looking to recruit a first class operations manager to assist with the delivery of multiple projects across Qatar. Typically this could be between 5-15 projects ranging in value from QAR 500,000 through to QAR 10 million.
Sectors they operate in include:
- Education
- Healthcare
- Commercial
- Retail/Malls
You will lead a team of between 3-6 Project Managers and provide both operational and commercial support. Excellent technical capabilities and also experience in working on projects both pre and post contract.
Salary:
QAR
60,000 to 80,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be degree qualified, preferably MCIOB and have extensive experience in Building (NOT infrastructure projects). They will be of western origin and previous experience of working in the GCC ESSENTIAL. There is a real opportunity to progress into a board level position and therefore candidates must have the aspirations to progress.
Given the opportunity to progress, this role will be suited to a younger, dynamic professional, client would prefer to recruit somebody between 40-50 years old (MAX).
