A high profile food and beverage retailer based in Qatar is seeking an Operations Manager to manage and oversee a portfolio of stores across the GCC. The role will be based in Doha, Qatar and will be reporting directly to the General Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Area Manager who is looking to step up into an Operations position.

Core accountabilities:
- Build the business model for the company in order to ensure the short Medium and long-term profitability.
- Conduct Market studies to validate the adequacy of the offer to the existing market.
- Define a business and marketing action plan in order to enhance the company's performance.
- Continuously monitor business performance of the company in each of its business segments.
- Support the sales team to promote new contacts or new sites.
- Negotiating contractual conditions with customers and prospects for company growth.
- Monitoring of monthly income statement.
- Full P&L accountability
- Define the business organizational structure and oversee the recruitment of key positions.
- Bring together all the team around the company strategy and action plan.
- Ensure regularly that all team converge towards the common goals for the company.
- Follow the projects path in connection with the department managers to properly validate the initiation of new contracts or launching new products.
- Regularly evaluate staff performance in coordination with the head of departments.
- Propose a coherent wage policy with implementation of a salary grid.
- Participate in events that will both enhance the visibility of the company in its market.
- Communicating and managing relationships with the current brands and potential brands

Requirements

- At least 6-8 years F&B experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Stake holder management is a preferred but not essential
- Currently accountable for the P&L of a brand
- Strategic approach is essential
- Experience in the GCC is essential
