Job description / Role
Charterhouse are working with a leading Retail and Hospitality group in Qatar, which have an extensive portfolio of premium outlets, representing a diverse range of multinational brands across the GCC markets. Our client is looking to hire an accomplished Operations Manager to lead commercial planning and sales operations for its growing Sports and Wellness division.
This role will be responsible for leading the sales and technical support teams for the B2C retail business and B2B corporate division. The Operations Manager will proactively identify and implement solutions which address performance issues and maximise client satisfaction whilst also achieving financial KPIs related to operational costs. This role forms part of the leadership team, reporting directly to the General Manager and will take accountability for monitoring commercial activity and setting customer service delivery standards for a portfolio of globally recognized sports/wellness brands.
Additionally, the Operations Manager will be the key point of contact for complaint resolution, also managing the relations between internal stakeholders and the brand to ensure global best practices are being adhered to. In conjunction, this predominately operational role, will work closely alongside the Supply Chain Manager to regularly monitor stock levels and devise monthly action plans to submit to the General Manager.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a similar field with a minimum of 6 years working in Retail, Wellness or Sports Industry. Our client will look to recruit a motivated Operations Manager with a proven track record of P&L management, overseeing cross functional teams. Excellent spoken and written English is essential for the role, whilst fluency in either Italian or Arabic would be advantageous. This role is based in Doha and our client is open to considering candidates currently based overseas looking to relocate to the region, who have the required experience.
