Job description / Role
The candidate must have experience as an asphalt engineer and must have worked on Roads and Highways specifically.
- Involved in preparation of mix design for both Bituminous & Non Bituminous Materials.
- working professionally at time of Asphalt production, placing and finishing.
- Analyzing the Quality of Asphalt components before production begins.
- Responsible to manage the daily activities related to Material Inspection, Construction Material Testing, Quality Assurance [Laboratory] and Site Quality Control.
- Finding the faults if any in both the materials and manufacturing process of Asphalt & rectifying the faults to ensure a better quality.
- Analyzing and monitoring the Asphalt Quality (Temperature, Bituminous Coating on Aggregates, Segregation, Level, Rolling pattern, PTR, finishing) during construction at site.
- Having authority to accept or reject the Asphalt, Asphalt Components and work which is not meet specifications limits at site.
Requirements
Asphalt Laying Experience is a must.
Experience in QA/QC procedure.
Experience: 10 yrs minimum and at least 5 yrs experience in GCC Countries.
Degree of Bachelor of Engineering in CIVIL
Must have good communication in English
Having well experience in civil activity related wet and dry utility
