Role purpose

Provide engineering and technical expertise in pipeline construction, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely execution in accordance with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

Prepare daily progress reports (DPR) and assist with planning updates.

Interpret pipeline drawings, including alignment sheets, crossing details, and construction procedures.

Coordinate with construction manager, QC, HSE, and planning teams for seamless project execution.

Monitor pipeline activities such as stringing, fit-up, welding, NDT, FJC, lowering, and pre-commissioning.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

Support troubleshooting and inspections by clients or third-party agencies.

Qualifications & experience

Bachelor's or diploma in mechanical engineering.

5-10 years of pipeline construction experience, preferably in oil & gas.

Skilled in DPR preparation, drawing interpretation, and team coordination.

Strong knowledge of HSE and quality standards.

Familiarity with ASME B31.8 code for gas transmission and distribution piping systems.
