Piping Designer

Job description / Role

12 months secondment contract
5 days on/2 days off/8-10 hours per day

Requirements:

• Bachelor or diploma in mechanical engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum 6-10 years relevant experience in FEED/detailed engineering of greenfield/brownfield engineering to oil and gas or similar facilities which must include offshore
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in detailed design engineering of brownfield modifications to oil and gas offshore
• Minimum 3 years of experience in E3D modelling software and 5 years of experience in AutoCAD software
• Develop detailed design and construction drawings such as plot plan, piping GAD, key plans, isometrics, demolition drawings, etc.
• Develop procurement and construction MTOs from approved documents and drawings
• Must possess basic working knowledge of industry practices, tools, codes and QatarEnergy/Shell DEP standards as applicable to the discipline
• Some site-based construction and commissioning experience is an advantage
