Designation: Senior piping designer

Key responsibilities:

• Perform piping engineering services such as:
• Participating in and facilitating internal design reviews
• Independently handling development of plot plans, piping general arrangement drawings and sections, pipe support details, etc.
• Preparation of isometrics
• Piping material take-off
• Checking of all kinds of piping drawings
• Strong knowledge of latest version of AutoCAD/CADWorx, 3D modelling software tools (like E3D, SP3D, etc.) and clash detection/resolution
• Communicate effectively with other discipline designers, engineers, and project team
• Ensure completion of assigned work on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Required skills:

• Degree or diploma in mechanical, piping, or petroleum engineering from a reputed university
• Minimum experience of 5-10 years in oil and gas, petrochemical, and/or refineries industries as a piping designer
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and Word
• Familiarity with international codes and standards such as API, ANSI, and ASME
• Flexible attitude, team player, with good written and verbal communication skills
• Provide required input and support to other disciplines such as process, civil, instrumentation, mechanical, electrical, and HSE
• Proven experience in engineering design tools such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Naviswork
• Experience with SmartPlant SP3D and AVEVA E3D is an added advantage
