Job Purpose
Perform operations planning activities during the project phase to ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the onshore asset.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Integrate and complete commissioning and start-up scheduling activities to ensure high-quality and efficient startup.
- Track system commissioning progress and keep the operations team updated to ensure appropriate startup planning.
- Update equipment commissioning status logs to ensure completion and operational readiness.
- Monitor operations readiness deliverables to ensure safe and reliable startup and lifecycle maintenance of new facilities.
- Support the operations team with availability of chemicals and consumables during startup.
- Participate in risk screening/assessment processes to identify risks and support management decision-making.
- Support the close-out of operations deliverables and exceptions post-project handover.
- Participate in Risk-Based Work Selection (RBWS) meetings and follow up on operations-related defects and close-out.
- Assist in developing the Work Plan & Budget (WP&B), annual major jobs list, and integrated schedules in Primavera for major and emergency outage jobs.
- Facilitate emergency outage and plant shutdown management, provide planning and troubleshooting recommendations, and generate progress reports.
Qualifications
Higher Diploma (HND) in Engineering.
Knowledge and/or Experience
Minimum 6 years of experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
Technical and Business Skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Proficient in MS Office software.
- Skilled in project planning and scheduling software.
