Job description / Role
You will be responsible to prepare the planning and for the follow up of the progress of works during the duration of the project. You are expected to be proactive and will have to anticipate the potential delay and issues that may impact the work progress and development.
You will work closely with the Planning team as well as to interact with the LRT team, to be able to coordinate and grasp the real progress of the overall work activities. This position reports directly to the Planning Manager.
Requirements
Possess minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related disciplines. You should ideally be holding Chartered MEP or Architectural / Planning Engineer certificate status (PMP). A formal health and safety qualification (e.g. Nebosh Construction Certificate) is highly regarded.
Working experience of 8-10 years in the construction industry (large infrastructure projects) experience is required for the position.
You are expected to possess expert working knowledge of Primavera software and an advanced level user of Autocad software. Knowledge of Occupational Health Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures is essential. Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English is essential. Knowledge of French, Arabic or Hindi is an added advantage.
