Park House English School is one of the oldest and most prestigious British schools in Doha, Qatar. Founded in 1994 by Mrs. Heather Brennan, we are celebrating our 31st year of providing outstanding educational provision. The school has a long history of exceptional success, and we are looking to appoint an outstanding Primary (Year 1) Teacher to join our highly committed team of professionals.

Our school

Park House English School is located in Doha, the capital city of Qatar. The school has an enviable reputation and our popularity means we are significantly over-subscribed. We are one of the leading British schools in Qatar.

Our thriving international student population is aged between 3 and 18 years old and from over 70 different nationalities. We follow a modified English National Curriculum, International Primary Curriculum, GCSE and A Levels, taught by our strong team of committed and experienced teachers. Our students achieve amongst the highest results in the country in external examinations, including many best in the world awards. We also have an exceptional reputation for sporting success.

Located in a purpose-built campus in Doha, our school is benefitting significantly from being a part of the U.K. based International Schools Partnership group. With over 80 schools around the world, our students have the opportunity to participate in events such as the ISP Model United Nations and the ISP Buddy Exchange Programme which enables students to participate in reciprocal exchanges across our global network of schools for a period of up to one month.

The role

The successful candidate will be expected to fulfill all the duties of a Primary School teacher, including serving as a form tutor, offering extra-curricular opportunities, attending planning and professional development meetings after school, and participating in other school events as required. Additionally the candidate must have a teaching qualification. TEFL/CELTA is not accepted.

   Provide a one-page document detailing what high-quality learning means to you and how you ensure it for the children in your classroom.
3. ISP Application Form
   Download the ISP Application Form from the "Documents" section of the advert.
   Complete the form and attach it under the "Documents" section on your Schrole account.

Only applications with all the required documents uploaded on Schrole will be considered.
You should also include the details of three professional referees.

All post holders are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and satisfactory criminal background checks or equivalent covering the previous 10 years of employment, this will cover all countries of residence during that period.
